About the game
Step into the elegance and excitement of Baccarat—one of the most iconic casino games in the world. Known for its simplicity and high-stakes appeal, Baccarat puts you right in the heart of the action, where every deal can lead to big wins. With just three possible outcomes—Player, Banker, or Tie—it’s easy to learn, yet thrilling to play. Whether you're chasing a streak or placing your next strategic bet, Baccarat delivers nonstop anticipation and classic casino glamour with every hand.
How to play
The objective of Baccarat is for the patron to bet on one of the two hands, PLAYER or BANKER, the one they anticipate that will have the highest value and will come closest to 9. A unique rule in Baccarat is that 9 is the highest possible score and 0 is the lowest. Card values are as follows:
- Picture cards and Tens are each worth 0 points.
- Cards numbered from 2 to 9 are worth their face value
- The Ace is worth 1 point
Points calculation in Baccarat differs from most card games. When adding the values of each hand, only the rightmost digit of the total is used to determine the hand’s final value.
A game of Baccarat has three possible outcomes:
- PLAYER wins (pays 1 to 1)
- BANKER wins (pays 1 to 1)
- TIE wins (pays 8 to1)
If the total points for either the PLAYER or BANKER hand is 8 or 9 on the first two cards dealt, this is called a NATURAL win, and no additional cards will be drawn.
If neither hand has a natural, the dealer may draw a third card for one or both hands, depending on the total. The Baccarat Third Card Rule determines when a third card is drawn.
If both the PLAYER and BANKER have a total of 6 or 7 after the first two cards, no additional cards will be drawn.
If the total points for both the PLAYER and BANKER hands is 6 on the first two cards dealt, this is a TIE, and no additional cards will be drawn.
Once the cards are dealt and played out, the hand closest to 9 wins. Neither hand will receive more than three cards.
In the event of a TIE, neither hand wins or loses, and any Tie wagers are paid accordingly.
In the game of Baccarat, there are two side bets that the patrons may place in addition to their initial bet:
- DRAGON 7 bonus – Pays 40 to 1 if the BANKER wins with a three-card total of 7 that beats the PLAYER hand.
- PANDA 8 bonus – Pays 25 to 1 if the PLAYER wins with a three-card total of 8 that beats the BANKER hand.
With Baccarat, patrons can enjoy the thrill of the game and the chance to win up to an incredible $18,000 in aggregate payouts!
