About the game
Craps is one of the most exciting and fast-paced games in the Casino. Played with two dice, it brings together luck, skillful betting decisions, and a lively table atmosphere. Players wager on the outcome of each roll of the dice, with a wide variety of betting options that range from simple and low-risk to complex and high-payouts.
How to play
At the table, one player—called the Shooter—rolls the dice, while all players can place bets on the results of the roll. The game centers around the come-out roll, the establishment of a point, and the ongoing sequence of rolls until the point is made or a 7 is rolled.
The game has 2 stages:
Step 1: The Come-Out Roll
The first roll of a round is called the “come-out roll.”
- Roll 7 or 11 → You win
- Roll 2, 3, or 12 → You lose (this is called “craps”)
- Roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 → This becomes the “point”
Step 2: The Point
If a point is established:
- The shooter keeps rolling
- Roll the same number again → You win
- Roll a 7 before the point → You lose
Common bets:
- Pass Line – The Pass Line is the most fundamental bet in Craps. This bet is one of the mandatory wagers the Shooter may choose to place before rolling the dice.
- Don’t Pass Line – A bet on the Don’t Pass Line plays the game in reverse of the Pass Line. Players who bet on Don’t Pass are not necessarily betting against the Shooter, who is often a Pass Line player; instead, they are betting that the dice will not repeat the same numbers—they are essentially betting against the dice.
- Place Bets – A Place bet is a wager that a specific number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) will be rolled before a 7. Place bets can be made at any time after a Point has been established, and players may choose which number(s) to bet on.
- Field – The player may place this wager on any roll of the dice. The bet wins if 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12 is rolled on the next roll. If 5, 6, 7, or 8 is rolled, the bet loses.
- Hard Ways – The player is betting that the Shooter will roll a pair. There are four Hardway combinations: Hard Four (two 2s), Hard Six (two 3s), Hard Eight (two 4s), and Hard Ten (two 5s). A player may wager on any of these combinations at any time.

a. Fire Bet – Fire Bet is a side bet which must be placed prior to the commencement of a new roll and wins if the Shooter rolls a minimum of four Individual Points before a Seven-Out, and it pays as follows:
- 6 “Individual Points”: 1,000 for 1
- 5 “Individual Points”: 250 for 1
- 4 “Individual Points”: 25 for 1
b. Bonus Craps – Bonus Craps is a set of three side bets found in Craps. They can be played individually or all together. They are as follows:
- ALL SMALL – wins if all the small numbers (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) are rolled before a 7 (including on the Come-Out roll) and pays 30 to 1.
- ALL TALL – wins if all the high numbers (8, 9, 10, 11, 12) are rolled before a 7 (including on the Come-Out roll) and pays 30 to 1.
- MAKE ‘EM ALL – wins if all the numbers (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) are rolled before a 7 (including on the Come-Out roll) and pays 150 to 1.
